The Intelligent Emotional Companion Robot is a smart companion product designed for older adults living alone or in advanced age, aiming to alleviate the lack of daily companionship and reduced emotional interaction. It integrates into the home environment through sustained interaction, proactively filling gaps in daily companionship and assisting family in conveying care remotely. Utilizing multimodal emotion recognition and AI conversation technology, the robot perceives the user’s emotions in real time and initiates interactions such as chatting and opera playback. It also integrates health monitoring and one-touch video calls, balancing emotional companionship with safety protection.
The product adopts a proactive companionship model, automatically initiating interaction when the elderly user is alone for extended periods. This reduces operational burden and allows companionship to flow more naturally and continuously. By recognizing facial expressions, analyzing behavior patterns, and detecting vocal emotion in real time, the robot assesses whether the user is feeling lonely or down, and accordingly triggers greetings, music, or expressive interactions-forming an intelligent sense-and-respond companionship loop.
The robot features a rounded, well-proportioned form with minimal visible mechanical elements, allowing it to blend naturally into the home like a common household object. A discreet drawer is integrated into its lower body for storing daily medication, embodying care in every detail. Crafted from gentle, skin-friendly materials and equipped with a soft-glow LED expression screen, it naturally conveys a range of human-like emotions, helping elderly users feel more emotionally connected and at ease.
Designed around the physical and cognitive characteristics of older adults, this product emphasizes clarity and ease of use in both functionality and interaction. It adopts a blended approach that relies primarily on screen‑free voice interaction, supported by physical buttons. Building on this foundation, the innovative One‑Touch Connect feature makes family communication straightforward. Without needing to remember numbers or navigate menus, an elderly user can simply press a dedicated button or give a voice command to be connected automatically to their family. In addition, the robot can recommend content based on time and context, and proactively remind the user to call their loved ones.
