ONE SHENZHEN

Shenzhen, located within the Pearl River Delta, draws deeply from the cultural essence of Lingnan heritage. Integrating the neo-Chinese architectural style, this project infuses Lingnan cultural elements as its core aesthetic language, creating an urban garden that harmonizes tradition and modernity. Under the theme “Enchanting Dreams in Longhua: The Radiance of Lingnan,” the design envisions a poetic sanctuary within the city—a space that reinterprets classical Lingnan elegance through contemporary craftsmanship.

The project establishes a Lingnan-themed immersive experience within Shenzhen’s modern urban context. Through the cohesive integration of interior, landscape, and architecture, a central courtyard becomes the spiritual core of the design, extending its cultural motif throughout the sales gallery and surrounding gardens. The interior adopts modularly customized patterns, sculptural silhouettes, and refined surfaces to evoke a sense of fluidity and depth. Premium materials such as monolithic luxury stone are used to craft seamless display platforms, reception desks, and curvilinear sand table podiums, blending precise engineering with the lyrical beauty of Lingnan artistry.

Despite a tight one-month construction schedule and the challenges of extensive customization, the project was realized through technical innovation and strategic coordination. On-site designer supervision enabled real-time adjustments and ensured craftsmanship quality. Modular prefabrication and pre-numbered installation modules reduced on-site error and accelerated construction. Custom GRG components for curved ceilings were synchronized with structural integration, while imported wood-grain laminates replaced traditional veneer finishes to achieve consistent color and refined visual continuity.

Sustainability and material efficiency were key considerations throughout. The ceilings feature extensive use of eco-friendly textured paint, minimizing natural stone usage while incorporating custom artificial stone and mosaic details. Secondary areas utilize durable ceramic tiles and wood-grain aluminum panels to balance aesthetics, cost, and environmental responsibility.

The result is a contemporary Lingnan urban retreat—a refined dialogue between cultural heritage and modern craftsmanship, where spatial poetry, material precision, and ecological awareness converge to form a timeless architectural narrative.
