This immersive VR artwork is built around the core philosophy that truth is not predefined but collectively constructed. Using an interactive VR globe as its core medium, the design extracts organic architectural features from Kowloon Walled City and Rome’s Colosseum, disassembling world-famous landmarks into editable modules covering shape, symbolic meaning and practical function.

Visitors build unique architectural narratives through gaze control, sliding and personalized choices; the system aggregates all participant behavioral data to dynamically generate customized building appearances. Three contrasting material languages — crystalline, porous and fluid — serve as visual metaphors to break fixed authoritative historical narratives and end the audience’s passive mode of receiving preset facts.

Combining Eastern and Western architectural heritage across civilizations, every independent interaction turns into an intimate cross-cultural dialogue.
