About The Entry

"Capping" is the final chapter of the Teens in Times concert series "The Capping Ceremony." Rooted in the traditional Chinese coming-of-age ritual "capping ceremony" and infused with racing and competition imagery, it fully illustrates the members' transformation from youth to adulthood, their coronation, and self-transcendence.

The seven youths appear as race car drivers, likening life and the stage to a racing track. "Track certification approved" symbolizes the dual recognition of their coming of age and their stage prowess.
