This project transforms an open 2,000-square-meter site into an immersive, narrative-driven space inspired by the poetic interpretation of autumn. The design concept revolves around "journeying with light," using winding pathways to create exploratory experiences with ever-changing vistas, visual occlusions, and layered spatial arrangements. Architectural roofs feature geometric variations, forming a rhythmic skyline that guides sightlines and movement, while finishes in warm autumn tones enhance atmosphere and dialogue with the steel-timber structure.
Art and architecture are deeply integrated, with a central water feature hosting a sculpture as its focal point, transforming static art into a dynamic environment as light and water interact continuously. The modular, prefabricated steel frame and timber structures enable rapid installation, dismantling, and reuse, balancing construction efficiency, sustainability, and aesthetic quality. Natural ventilation, LED lighting with intelligent control, and locally fabricated components reduce energy use and carbon emissions, while materials and finishes are carefully selected for visual richness and ease of assembly.
The design translates the abstract seasonal theme into perceptible spatial language through circulation, light, shadow, and artistic intervention rather than figurative symbols. Collaboration across architecture, installations, lighting, and water features ensures visual coherence and proportional harmony. The flexible, demountable system allows complete site restoration, while the central sculpture remains permanently, extending the cultural and artistic value beyond the temporality of the block. Overall, the project combines narrative spatial strategies, modular construction, sustainable materials, and seasonal expression to create a memorable, interactive, and adaptable public environment.
