The exhibition combines education with immersive experience, focusing on science fiction and artificial intelligence to engage youth. By using sci-fi scenarios, it stimulates curiosity, imagination, and exploration in science and technology, while showcasing AI’s achievements and principles. Visitors gain hands-on understanding of AI hardware, software, and applications, and learn its significance in solving global problems.
The exhibition follows a thematic storyline where children encounter a humanoid AI with memory loss. They explore and repair small robots (AI hardware), help recover AI memories (software), and complete collaborative research missions with the AI, fostering problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation. The final area emphasizes human-AI relationships, highlighting companionship and mutual growth.
Challenges in design include translating complex AI principles for children, balancing fun and education, ensuring durability, and accommodating different age groups. Solutions involve visual and gamified content, segmented curriculum packages with competency evaluation, modular and durable materials, and layered task difficulty for differentiated learning.
Safety and child-friendliness are ensured through rounded edges, soft materials, and non-toxic paints meeting national standards. The exhibition conveys a technological and futuristic atmosphere using frosted acrylic, brushed stainless steel, LED lighting, and interactive sensors. Physical materials like carbon fiber and memory alloys provide tactile experiences.
Sustainability is emphasized through recyclable materials, energy-saving LED lighting with intelligent controls, natural light optimization, and software-defined content that allows low-cost updates and iterative improvement. Open-source and co-created content keeps the exhibition dynamic and relevant. Smart operation monitors energy use and visitor engagement, enabling data-driven optimization.
Overall, the exhibition integrates cross-disciplinary innovation, science fiction inspiration, and educational theory to cultivate scientific thinking, creativity, and curiosity in young audiences, while demonstrating the practical and social impact of artificial intelligence.
