Spiritual Pizza is a digital visual communication project exploring human growth, emotional recovery, and the reconnection of relationships in contemporary society. Positioning pizza as both a symbolic world and a metaphor for human relationships, the project visualizes emotional and relational transformation through the narrative stages of Empathy, Unity, Fragmentation, Awareness, and Oneness.

The project was conceived with inspiration from the urban media environment of Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. Within the context of large scale digital screens and urban media systems that create new forms of communication between people, cities, and digital spaces, the work explores emotional relationships between human experience and contemporary digital society through expandable visual communication structures.

Empathy represents the process in which separated elements begin to reconnect, while pizza slices rotating around the Earth in the night sky of Seoul symbolize coexistence and the possibility of shared global emotions. Unity represents reconstruction and recovery, where fragmented elements integrate into stable relational structures. Fragmentation symbolizes emotional isolation, instability, and disconnection in contemporary society. Awareness encourages viewer participation and self reflection through interaction with public media, while Oneness represents the integration of human relationships, society, and both physical and digital environments into a unified flow.

Spiritual Pizza was created as a vector based visual concept project, with all images designed to be scalable across various digital environments. The project was also developed with character motion and animation expansion in mind, expressing a contemporary digital visual language.

Going beyond static image making, the project proposes an expandable urban communication system applicable to public media, digital interfaces, exhibitions, fashion, and IP based visual communication platforms, presenting new possibilities for future urban media art.
