Twinkle My Way

This visual merchandising installation is themed around “Twinkle My Way · Gather Sparks, Share Brilliance.” Drawing inspiration from the starlit reflections on the Xiang River at night, the warm glow of city streets and alleys, and the positioning of Changsha MixC as a core emotional landmark, it deeply integrates the city’s heritage. By weaving the flowing texture of the Xiang River and the heartwarming ambiance of the “Star City” (a nickname for Changsha) into every detail, the installation evolves from a mere visual display into a vessel for emotion among Changsha residents. Simultaneously, it seamlessly blends the romance of Christmas with the warmth of the anniversary celebration, creating an immersive setting that features striking visual impact, gives a sense of urban belonging, and evokes emotional resonance—showcasing Changsha MixC’s fashion-forward identity and its commitment to humanistic care.
The installation centers on a colossal Christmas tree, crowned by a radiant star as its visual anchor. This design honors the classic symbolism of Christmas, represents a guiding light in the city’s night sky, and echoes Changsha’s nickname—the “Star City.” Flowing red ribbons wrapped around the tree’s trunk infuse the static image with a touch of dynamism, while a star-shaped base further highlights the theme, lending the installation a unique character.
The installation extends beyond the central tree, transforming the entire plaza into a dream-like realm. Branded boxes are adorned with warm lights and starlight elements, complemented by bow decorations and ground projections of flowing starlight, immersing visitors in the festive atmosphere the moment they enter the plaza. A starry matrix is formed by tens of thousands of warm light beads. As visitors gather, they intertwine their gazes with the lights, truly embodying the profound meaning of “Gather Sparks, Share Brilliance”—where each small beam, linked through human presence, converges into a warm, starry river that illuminates the city. To date, this installation has become the benchmark for year-end commercial visual merchandising in Changsha.
