Villa Carlos

Villa Carlos is conceived as a private retreat in Ibiza, designed to optimize space while accommodating five en-suite bedrooms. The project balances intimacy and shared living, creating a home that offers quiet moments while remaining open enough to host family and friends.

Set within a dense pine forest, with distant sea views from the upper floor, the house is deeply connected to its Mediterranean surroundings. The garden extends the interior, integrating nature into daily life and shaping a design approach rooted in calm and continuity.

Traditional Ibizan architecture is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Local stone, lime-based plasters, natural wood, wicker, and rounded forms establish a dialogue with vernacular construction, expressed through refined craftsmanship and a warm, luminous palette.

Structural elements are integrated into the design, forming niches and built-in features that add depth and character. Carefully placed openings strengthen the connection to the garden, especially in the living area, where a large sliding opening seamlessly links the interior with the pool and outdoor spaces, creating a timeless and serene Mediterranean home.
