The vibrancy of Chang'an is equally reflected in the bustling daily life beneath its ancient city walls and the modern charm along the banks of Qujiang.
When the millennia-old heritage of this ancient city meets the diverse flavors of Western cuisine, Channel We Coffee at Qujiang emerges as a distinctive dining destination. Inspired by the imagery of the pomegranate flower, the space seamlessly integrates the deep historical essence of Chang'an with a elevated Western dining experience. It balances Eastern philosophical thought with contemporary style, creating a setting that is both sophisticated and culturally resonant.
This design goes beyond mere symbolism, offering a modern interpretation of color, materials, and light to evoke the spirit of the Tang Dynasty—its openness, inclusiveness, and brilliance—reimagined within the contemporary urban dining scene.
Avoiding unnecessary embellishments, the design employs contrasting colors to craft a sleek, textured aesthetic. It captures the vibrant visual essence of the pomegranate flower while aligning with the minimalist elegance of modern Western dining spaces. Magenta beams symbolize the flower’s charm, mystery, and dynamic energy, enticing passersby to step inside and explore. Warm orange tones dominate the walls, curtains, and furniture, evoking the rich, joyful hues of ripe pomegranates and infusing the space with warmth, vitality, and contemporary flair. Accents of red, purple, and blue add further depth and vibrancy to the design.
