“Meet Your 2026: A Calendar Made of Light” is a daily tear-off calendar that brings the concept of “light” into everyday life. Inspired by the idea that sunlight takes eight minutes to reach Earth—but only a single page to warm the heart—the design infuses the presence of light into every material, structure, and experience.

The outer box is made from recycled green-energy paper and finished with matte gold foil stamping, creating a soft, luminous texture. The calendar’s 365 sheets are printed with a custom orange ink, forming a subtle gradient on the edge that resembles a rising sun. As users flip through each page, this gradient serves as a visual trace of time—symbolizing growth, renewal, and the gentle momentum of daily living.

Beyond its function as a calendar, the project explores extended usability and emotional resonance. The inside of the box features a built-in slot and a small light fixture, allowing users to display their favorite pages. When illuminated, the box transforms into a warm, personal lightbox—giving each selected page a new life and turning quiet moments into rituals of reflection.

The calendar structure is refined with a seamless, integrated stand reinforced by premium Japanese paper. It supports both standing and hanging display modes, allowing the product to adapt naturally to diverse spaces and routines.

GOODAY believes that light is everywhere—in the rhythms of daily life, in moments of growth, and in every page we choose to turn. Through thoughtful materials, multifunctional design, and subtle emotional cues, this calendar aims to illuminate not only each day of 2026, but also the inner light found within every user.
