The Mystic Dragon series draws from the profound wisdom of the I Ching (Book of Changes), the fountainhead of classical Chinese philosophy. It employs the Dragon, the spiritual totem of the Chinese nation, as a metaphor to articulate a grand artistic epic on the evolutionary laws of the universe. The collection is composed of chapters inspired by the phrases The Hidden Dragon, The Dragon Appearing in the Field, The Dragon Leaping in the Abyss, and The Flying Dragon in the Heavens, which artfully mirror the pivotal stages of human life. This is not merely an artistic representation of a life's journey, but a philosophical contemplation on acting in harmony with the times and accumulating power for the opportune moment.

From the concealed incubation of the Hidden Dragon to the emergent promise of the Dragon Appearing in the Field; from the vigorous striving of the Dragon Leaping in the Abyss to the crowning achievement of the Flying Dragon in the Heavens, the series vividly interprets the complete trajectory of life, from gestation and growth to strength and splendor. Yet, the pinnacle of prosperity also heralds a new beginning. The work profoundly reveals the cosmic principle of transitioning from fullness to emptiness, of returning to the origin, and of beginning anew. It showcases the eternal charm and infinite power of life's cyclical and perpetual nature.
