Shangshu Yipin East Courtyard Showroom

Located in Shenqiu, Henan, the Shangshu Yipin East Courtyard showroom draws inspiration from "natural canyons," integrating three core concepts: "canyon aesthetics, mountain spirit, and courtyard living," to create an ideal residence that combines exploration and a sense of belonging. The design organically integrates topography, water features, rock formations, and vegetation to recreate a complete canyon experience from the foot of the mountain to its summit, from the surface to the "earth's core," forming a spatial sequence rich in narrative depth.



The showroom's main theme is "Exploring the Valley to Reach the Distant Future, Exploring Mountains to Improve Oneself," creating a complete journey from urban hustle and bustle to natural tranquility. The north-south oriented "One Step into Sichuan | Reaching the Distant Canyon Water Vein" serves as the spatial framework, running through the entire scene and connecting various canyon forms such as wide valleys, barrier valleys, and cascading valleys, guiding visitors to experience the rhythm and atmosphere of nature amidst flowing water and changing terrain.



Project highlights include: Topographical Shaping: A 4.5-meter elevation difference constructs a three-dimensional tour sequence of "front mountain—summit—back mountain—valley," creating scenes with narrative tension, such as "Shangshu Pavilion—Zangle Cave." Water Feature Creation: Following the "Zhiyuan Canyon Water Vein," various water features such as streams, brooks, waterfalls, pools, and ponds are created, with a typical scene like "Bixia Slope," using water as a connecting thread to link the entire spatial experience.



Stone Stacking Techniques: Shanxi Black and Taihang Gold granite are selected, and modern techniques are used to simulate the texture of natural canyons, such as the ingenious integration of stone walls, stone waterfalls, and a celestial pool in "Geocenter Valley."



This project uses nature as a medium to reconstruct the ambiance of mountains and fields within the city, guiding people to return to the essence of life in nature.
