The project embraces the 400-year-old Jichang Garden across quiet alleys. Rooted in the rhythms of nature and the soul of local heritage, the design weaves Huishan Mountain’s undulating silhouette into the courtyard walls, while the fifty scenes of Jichang Garden are reimagined as modern corridors and cascading waters.

The entrance porch draws on the upturned eaves of Jichang Garden, while the spacious courtyard is envisioned with bamboo-textured metal grilles, evoking the ceremonial grace of ancestral mansions. Imperial kiln bricks pave the path home, while spring water in the garden is subtly revealed through curated window views.

The model area unfolds like a scroll, capturing the essence of mountains and waters. The site model reveals Wuxi’s urban fabric, and floor-to-ceiling windows draw Longguang Pagoda into view, merging with the shifting glow of dawn and dusk. Strolling through the central visual corridor, each step enters into a quiet dialogue with the ancient pagoda beyond—composing a gentle symphony of the city, nature, and garden.

Stepping into the property model area, mother-of-pearl lacquered screens curve like sails on a canal, half-enclosing the space like a moored boat. The central model display, inlaid with white jade and gold, outlines the refined elegance of the courtyard settlement.

The in-depth negotiation area becomes a stage that evokes ancient literati gatherings. Overhead, the ceiling mimics a boat canopy, complemented by wood carvings, mother-of-pearl lacquer, and bronze accents—reimagining Jichang Garden’s “Fish-Watching Rail” through a contemporary lens.

The yoga room, bathed in subtle lighting, conjures a realm of quiet transcendence—as.The fitness area seamlessly connects with the garden, inviting body and mind to breathe in rhythm with nature.

The project unfolds an aesthetic journey—a contemplative dialogue between time and space.
