In China, traditional health checks for miners rely on human labor, which is costly. Given the actual situation in China, miners do not attach much importance to the prevention of pneumoconiosis, and it is not realistic to have them go to hospitals for regular check-ups, which would require a large amount of funds. In response to this phenomenon and the high number and severity of pneumoconiosis cases among Chinese miners, we aim to develop an innovative technology to achieve a low-cost and high-efficiency health monitoring solution and shift health management from passive treatment to active prevention. We have combined the characteristics of unmanned and intelligent auscultation and lung function tests, and used big data to generate long-term and accurate predictions of lung health. The Aeris vest does not require professional medical staff to operate. Miners can complete self-health checks with their mobile phones during their daily work and life. Long-term data analysis can also help mining enterprises better understand the health conditions of each miner. The data collected by the vest will be uploaded to the cloud, and AI deep learning will be used to analyze the curve graphs of auscultation sounds to predict the lung health status of miners over the long term. The built-in auscultation point detector in the vest can capture the subtle changes in lung breathing in real time.
