This project aims to explore the connection between marginalised groups in society and the relationship between illness and emotions, using an emotional data language to provide psychological support for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRBs). BFRBs refer to compulsive behaviours such as skin picking, hair pulling, and other actions that often result in bodily harm. Many people conceal this issue out of fear of societal judgment.

To address this, I collected data from several patients with BFRBs, instructed them to use self‑reporting via journal notes, and then I created personal archives for them. The content of each archive focuses on demonstrating the effects of mood changes and behaviours on BFRBs in several patients on different occasions and at different times of the day. Through this project, I hope to encourage individuals in the BFRBs community to face their challenges courageously and seek solutions. At the same time, I aim to raise public awareness about this disorder and provide care and understanding to those affected by BFRBs.
