Room near Taihu Lake

This is a residential property located by the shores of Taihu Lake in Suzhou, China. The owner of this house is a 30-year-old young woman. As the only designer of this house, I adopted a French Style in my design.

In terms of lines, the clever interplay of straight and curved lines creates visually appealing effects.In term of colors, a bright and warm palette with bold contrasting hues fosters a cozy atmosphere.

In terms of space-use, the combination of open and enclosed areas maximizes efficiency in spatial utilization.

In term of materials, the use of gypsum moldings, walnut wood, and natural stone enhances the overall living ambiance.

In terms of fabrics and textiles, the pairing of wool carpets and solid wood furniture further elevates the comfort of the residence.
