Shantou Yue Jing Yuan Mansion,Luen Mei Real Estate

This project is located in Shantou. Starting from the cultural foundation of this city, we extract the wooden corner elements from the traditional Chaoshan architecture “old houses,” deconstruct and reorganize them, and transform them into modern design symbols with oriental charm, echoing and extending them in various parts of the space. Design is not only the inheritance of form but also the transmission of spirit. We use the concept of “the integration of oriental and innovation” as a thread, combining the Chaoshan spirit with the artistic conception of the paintings by artist Wu Guanzhong, awakening a cultural consciousness that belongs to Shantou in tranquility and poetry.



In terms of spatial expression, we base it on oriental aesthetics, integrating contemporary aesthetics and lifestyle, to create a home that has both traditional charm and modern comfort. The living room features a large area of luxury stone as the background wall, exuding an air of calmness and dignity, and showcasing the unique charm of oriental modernity between light and shadow. The master bedroom has a screen painting as the background, which is gentle and elegant. A mini bar is also specially set up next to the wardrobe, adding a touch of comfortable living atmosphere to daily life. The children's room breaks away from the norm, drawing inspiration from Memphis style, to create a fun-filled and vibrant little paradise. The card room continues the overall oriental context, with a large screen design that gives the space a greater sense of enclosure while maintaining a sense of transparency and lightness.



The overall space achieves a balance between culture and function, allowing people to feel the depth of Chaoshan culture while enjoying the comfort and ease of modern life. We hope that through this design, we can build a way for local culture and contemporary aesthetics to communicate, and truly make the home a place with warmth, memory, and a sense of the future.
