About The Entry

ClearFeed is a UX concept that tackles growing problems in digital news consumption: rising paywall fatigue, limited access to independent journalism, and lack of trust in algorithm-driven content feeds. Many users hesitate to commit to multiple news subscriptions, while smaller voices are often overlooked in mainstream platforms. ClearFeed explores an alternative model: enabling flexible, pay-per-article access through Web3 micropayments, giving readers more choice and transparency. In addition, it introduces a community-driven rating system where users can assess political leaning and credibility—offering a more open and trustworthy way to surface diverse content. The project focuses on making emerging decentralized technologies feel simple and intuitive, rethinking core UX patterns to empower users. Through this prototype, ClearFeed demonstrates how design can reshape access, trust, and discovery in digital journalism.
