Located in Vancouver’s prestigious West Side, ANGUS MODERN FRENCH is a luxury residential interior design project that reimagines modern luxury through the lens of contemporary French elegance. The design blends timeless European architectural language with bold modern detailing, creating a highly curated yet livable home environment.
The design narrative is rooted in material harmony and sculptural balance. White marble surfaces, herringbone wood flooring, and ornate ceiling moldings ground the space in tradition, while clean lines and curated forms bring a contemporary freshness. Graceful arched openings and custom millwork add architectural depth, complemented by a refined palette of soft neutrals and dark wood accents.
The kitchen acts as a central feature, where a luminous onyx backsplash is framed by bespoke cabinetry and open shelving. A marble island with gold-accented barstools serves both aesthetic and functional purposes, while translucent pendant lighting adds a soft, sculptural rhythm to the space. Elsewhere, expansive glazing and thoughtful lighting enhance spatial flow, connecting interior elegance with natural surroundings.
