Just as a cherished book reveals marks and creases with every rereading, a home too accumulates its own folds over time. In this project, the designer employed curved forms to evoke the flow of time and the turning of pages. As residents move through the space, there’s a sense of anticipation for the “next page” of their story—each favorite scene or moment prompting the creation of a small, folded corner. Elements such as the daybed and display cabinets become those little “nooks” that the family naturally folds into their daily life, gradually accumulating the unique story of home.



The homeowner, a senior executive in the tech industry, desired a space that reflected modern refinement and a calm, dignified presence. The designer centered the concept around crisp, sleek curved linear lighting to guide both the gaze and circulation. A custom-made large tile dining table, in dialogue with the expansive tiled TV wall, reinforces the overall simplicity and enhances the sense of scale and quality of living. The overall color scheme and circulation are orchestrated like a carefully cherished book—each chapter unfolding slowly to reveal the family’s meticulous attention to detail and the deep emotional connection they have with their life.
