"Refined Essence" distills space to its purest form, embracing subtractive design to eliminate excess and restore the essence of living. A misty gray palette and deep wood textures establish a tranquil, layered atmosphere, while geometric volumes, angled cuts, and indirect lighting create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, enhancing spatial depth and purity.
Designed for a compact urban home, the project optimizes storage and openness through hidden and modular solutions: a foldable dining table seamlessly integrates into cabinetry, the TV wall’s recessed shelving balances function and display, and a Moru glass sliding wardrobe introduces lightness and transparency. The adjustable column-based storage system adapts to evolving needs, ensuring flexibility over time.
Lighting design plays a crucial role in defining the space. Concealed indirect lighting and recessed shelf illumination create smooth transitions between surfaces, adding subtle layers of warmth and depth. More than a style, "Refined Essence" is a philosophy of living, embodying the principle of “less is more”—a sanctuary where simplicity and adaptability coexist in perfect harmony.
