The concept of unmanned restaurants is not entirely new. In response to challenges such as labor shortages and the need to improve service efficiency, many restaurants have already introduced service robots to assist with various tasks. However, achieving full automation remains difficult, particularly in larger establishments where effective customer guidance is essential for a seamless dining experience. Without proper assistance, customers may struggle to find their seats or place orders efficiently.
HEX_bot is a service robot designed based on the concept of unmanned restaurants. Utilizing advanced projection technology, it provides clear and intuitive ground-based visual guidance, helping customers navigate the space effortlessly. By eliminating the need for traditional waitstaff interactions, HEX_bot enhances the dining experience for those who value privacy and prefer minimal disturbance while ensuring a smooth and efficient ordering process. Additionally, its adaptable system can integrate with restaurant management software, further streamlining operations and reducing reliance on human staff.
