SKY PARTY

SKY PARTY is a creative bar where the design team uses the contrast of light, shadows, and materials to represent the post-apocalyptic themes of chaos, nothingness, and vastness, creating a sense of contradiction and a stark contrast between reality and dreams. On the first floor of SKY PARTY, the design team constructs a 'dream' for the guests. Red and blue are the primary contrasting colors: red light strips run through the corridor, while blue light strips spread across the stainless steel bar area. The interplay of these two colors and materials divides the space into two parts, representing the psychedelic and the awake, making people feel as though they are immersed in a utopian dream. The rooftop area is designed to be the 'reality,' corresponding to the 'dream' of the first floor. The boundary between the 'dream' and 'reality' is formed by the glass ceiling, with light serving as the carrier of emotion, connecting the atmosphere of the first floor to the rooftop. This design cleverly bridges the indoor and outdoor spaces, which were originally separated. The design team has repurposed the previously abandoned rooftop, using columns as an axis to connect the bar and DJ booth. The ground features three different shades of blue epoxy paint to simulate the effect of a pool, blurring the boundaries between the bar, DJ booth, and transparent stage. This allows people to escape the pressures of life, relax, and experience an enjoyable emotional journey.
