Formosa North Coast Arts Festival 2023

The Formosa North Coast Arts Festival 2023 was inspired by the rich natural and cultural landscape of Taiwan's North Coast. Through the theme of "Temperature Tasting," the event aims to explore people's perception and imagination of temperature, thus realizing the role of temperature as a cultural memory. Through the creation of artworks on site, the season aims to engage the public in connecting with places, increasing community interaction and cross-cultural dialogues. Furthermore, the exhibition hopes to enhance the understanding and appreciation of the local environment and society through artistic interventions, thereby promoting the cultural and economic development of the remote area.
Artists from different cultural backgrounds created works on the North Coast, bringing their unique cultural perspectives and innovative techniques to enrich the local cultural ecology. The event featured local tours, educational tours, and lectures that promote public awareness of art and environmental issues. Particularly targeted at youth and students, the event not only enhanced art appreciation, but also reinforced environmental awareness and social responsibility.
