70th Anniversary VI Design for Art School Of Guanzhou Academ

The project involves the design of the logo and related souvenirs for the 70th anniversary celebration of Art School Of Guanzhou Academy Of Fine Arts. Drawing inspiration from the educational mission of the school, designers found inspiration in the common plaster figures used in art foundation teaching. Within the contours of spheres and cones, they discovered the motif of “70” and refined it to create the foundational form of the 70th anniversary emblem.

Over the past 70 years, the academy has been a major training ground for talent, nurturing numerous artists who have made significant contributions nationwide. Hence, the designers extracted the visual elements of the core term “track” to further enrich the design of the 70th anniversary celebration logo. Ultimately, the logo consists of seven lines, each representing a decade of the school’s operation, outlining the 70-year artistic journey of the academy. It symbolizes the academy’s leading position in art education, akin to being ahead on the track of artistic education. These seven lines also serve as markers of time, connecting the decades-long journey and narrating the illustrious history of the school.

In terms of color application, the designers adopted the color scheme of the school VI visual identification system. This not only resonates with the school’s VI image recognition system but also enhances its recognizability, contributing to a rich visual atmosphere.
