The project is situated at the intersection of Zhongnan Yi Road and Yuewan Road in Wujia Gang District, Yichang City, nestled against the mountains, enjoying a beautiful environment.

The Ba Chu Academy, located at the southernmost part of the site, artfully combines modern architectural spaces with the traditional essence of Song Dynasty academies, conveying the perfect pursuit of classical aesthetics in the lives of modern young people.

Within the academy, there are main attractions such as the Chongsheng Hall, Dacheng Hall, Front Lecture Hall, Academy Gate, Imperial Study Building, Zhuangyuan Bridge, Instructor's Residence, Minglun Hall, and Corridors.

The "Nanjing Academy Inscription Record" states, "The world's library sequence, wishing for its prosperity"; the "Yixue Record" states, "In the early Song Dynasty, there were four major academies in the world, and Yingtian Academy was the leader"; the "Compilation of Nine Dynasties" states, "With the rise of the Song Dynasty, schools started to appear in prefectural capitals throughout the country."

The Ba Chu Academy integrates the architectural heritage of Ba Chu culture with the academy culture of the Song Dynasty, embodying the spirit of Eastern culture and blending it with the essence of modern art. It emphasizes the integration of the spatial layout of Song Dynasty academies with natural courtyards, creating a three-tiered courtyard space that showcases the elegance of the Ba Chu Academy through every brick, tile, and landscape.

The building façade adopts a sloping roof design, rising and falling in height, with the sky as its backdrop, creating a continuous and melodious mountain and water painting in the air. The façade incorporates a contrast between solid and void, showcasing the orderly changes between exquisite walls and glass curtain walls. The delicate eaves perfectly display the aesthetics of Song Dynasty architecture.

With exquisite window decorations, tranquil courtyards, mirrored water features, covered corridors, gray walls, and black tiles, the design elements feature clean lines and a strong and robust form. It exudes both the classical elegance of the Song Dynasty and the restrained charm of Ba Chu culture, growing more captivating with the passage of time, radiating the enchanting charm of the East.
